Common questions
How much does a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe cost?
Over the past 12 months, 12 have sold publicly at a median of $57,000. The Shifty Estimate for a well-kept example is $18,300. Cars have changed hands anywhere from $13,725 to $22,875, depending on mileage, color, and history.
What is a 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe worth today?
The Shifty Estimate is $18,300. That sits below the $57,000 median of actual sales because the estimate weights the most recent results most heavily, and recent sales have come in under the longer-run median. We rate confidence low: 12 public sales in a year is not enough to be firm, and the honest range is wide. Treat it as a starting point, not a valuation.

About the 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe
The 997-generation Carrera GTS represents Porsche's sweet spot between the standard Carrera S and the hardcore GT3. Launched in 2011 as a send-off for the 997 platform, it packed a 408-hp version of the 3.8-liter flat-six, 23 more horses than the Carrera S through revised intake and exhaust tuning. The GTS distinguished itself with wider rear fenders borrowed from the Carrera 4, aggressive aero addenda, and distinctive black trim that would become a GTS signature. Porsche's Sport Chrono package came standard, delivering that addictive launch control system. With only two model years of production, the 997 GTS has emerged as the purist's choice, offering modern reliability with analog charm before the 991's electric steering arrived. Clean examples command strong premiums today, particularly six-speed manuals, as collectors recognize this as the last of the truly mechanical 911s.
