Most tools hand you one blurry range for an entire model. Shifty prices the actual car: the year, the spec, the rare options, the color, the mileage, and the exact corner of the market it trades in.
Every sale that sets the market
Bring a Trailer, RM Sotheby's, Gooding, Bonhams, Mecum, and Cars and Bids, plus dealer listings and private sales. We read the hammer prices, not the asking prices.
The rare options, priced one by one
PTS paint, PCCB, Weissach, a manual gearbox, lightweight buckets. Two 993s are not the same car, and we price the difference.
A live number, not a stale guide
The estimate moves with the market. It weighs recent comps, throws out the outliers, reads the spread between dealer asking and hammer, and adjusts for mileage, color, and condition.

What is a Shifty Estimate?
A live market value for a collector car, computed from real sales rather than asking prices. Every estimate carries a confidence read and a range, so you know how solid the number is.
How is the Shifty Estimate calculated?
The engine reads more than 96,000 real sales and listings across 2,700+ collector models, weighs the most recent comparable sales, throws out outliers, and adjusts for mileage, spec, and color. Sold prices set the number; asking prices only inform it.
Is the valuation really free?
Yes. Every car's value for its year and miles is free, on this site and in the app. Pro adds price forecasts and the exact value of a car's specific paint and options.
How is Shifty different from Hagerty, KBB, or Classic.com?
Shifty is built only for collector cars and prices the specific car, not a blurry range for the whole model. A price guide updates a few times a year; the Shifty Estimate moves with the market. And Shifty also holds your records: service, insurance, warranty, and mileage.
