About the 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe 7-Speed
The 991.2 Carrera GTS represents the sweet spot in Porsche's naturally aspirated 911 lineup before turbocharging took over completely. Powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six producing 450 horsepower, it bridges the gap between the base Carrera and the track-focused GT3. The GTS package adds wider rear fenders from the Carrera 4, PASM adaptive dampers, and Sport Chrono as standard, features that cost extra on lesser models. The 7-speed manual transmission makes this particularly desirable, as Porsche was already phasing out three-pedal options across the range. With its aggressive aero kit, center-lock wheels, and blacked-out details, the GTS looks the part of a serious driver's car. Production was limited to just three model years, making clean examples increasingly sought after. Values have remained strong as collectors recognize this as potentially the last great naturally aspirated 911 Carrera variant.
