About the 1994 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe 6-Speed

The 993-generation 911 Carrera represents the last air-cooled 911, making it profoundly significant among collectors. Introduced in 1994, this final evolution of Ferdinand Porsche's original concept featured a completely redesigned body with integrated bumpers and the most refined air-cooled flat-six ever produced. The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter engine delivered 272 horsepower through either a smooth six-speed manual or Tiptronic automatic. What sets the 993 apart is its perfect balance of classic 911 character with modern refinement, multilink rear suspension tamed the infamous lift-off oversteer while preserving the pure driving experience. Production ended in 1998 as Porsche transitioned to water cooling, cementing the 993's status as the end of an era.
