About the 2007 Aston Martin Vantage Vantage 4.3 Roadster
The V8 Vantage Roadster represents Aston Martin's brief but brilliant foray into open-top sports car territory during the brand's renaissance period. Built for just two model years, this drop-top variant of the acclaimed V8 Vantage coupe paired Aston's naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V8 with a power-folding soft top that could disappear in 18 seconds. The 380-horsepower engine, developed with Jaguar, delivered genuine supercar performance with a 4.9-second sprint to 60 mph and a 175-mph top speed. Only around 1,000 Roadsters were produced globally, making them significantly rarer than their hardtop siblings. The short production run was due to Aston Martin's focus on the more powerful 4.7-liter variant that followed. Today, these early Roadsters are increasingly sought after for their purity, manual transmission availability, and status as the last naturally aspirated V8 Vantage convertibles before turbocharging arrived.
