About the 2017 Aston Martin Vantage Vantage GT8

The Vantage GT8 represents Aston Martin's final, most extreme iteration of their VH-platform sports car before the all-new Vantage arrived. Limited to just 150 examples worldwide, this track-focused machine stripped 100kg from the standard V8 Vantage while adding serious aerodynamic hardware including a massive rear wing and front splitter. The naturally-aspirated 4.7-liter V8 produces 440hp, but it's the GT8's handling transformation that truly matters, Bilstein dampers, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and revised suspension geometry create a car that feels genuinely race-bred. Inside, carbon fiber bucket seats and a roll cage emphasize the serious intent. With production ending the VH era that began in 2005, GT8s have become highly sought-after among collectors who appreciate Aston's last hurrah before turbocharging. Values have remained strong, particularly for the handful of manual transmission examples.
