About the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR Extreme Aero

The ACR Extreme Aero package represents the absolute pinnacle of Viper development and American track car engineering. Building on the already extreme 2016 ACR, the Extreme Aero added even more aggressive aerodynamic components for maximum downforce and track performance. With 645 horsepower and aerodynamics generating over 1,300 pounds of downforce, it achieved lap times that embarrassed European supercars costing multiples of its $140,820 price. The massive carbon fiber wing, canards, and splitter weren't styling exercises, they enabled legitimate race car performance in street-legal form. Extremely limited production over just two years makes these among the rarest Vipers ever built. As the final and most extreme expression of the Viper formula, the Extreme Aero represents the end of an era, America's last naturally aspirated V10 supercar, engineered without compromise for pure speed and track dominance.
