The third-generation Viper marked Dodge's evolution from raw brutality to refined savagery. Built on a stiffer chassis with 40% more torsional rigidity, these SRT-10 models packed an 8.3-liter V10 producing 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque, making them the most powerful production Vipers yet. The convertible debuted in 2003, followed by the coupe in 2006, both featuring improved interior appointments and better build quality while retaining the Viper's uncompromising character.
