Ford's modern interpretation of the legendary Boss 302 nameplate delivered everything enthusiasts hoped for and more. Built for just two model years, this track-focused Mustang packed a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8 producing 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The Boss 302's magic lay in its chassis tuning, TracKey unlocked an even more aggressive suspension setup for track use, while Recaro seats and a Torsen limited-slip differential completed the performance package. Ford's SVT team developed unique cylinder heads, revised intake manifold, and a free-flowing exhaust that helped the engine rev to 7,500 rpm. With only 7,643 units produced across both years, the Boss 302 represents the pinnacle of fifth-generation Mustang engineering.
