About the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
The C6 Grand Sport revived Zora Duntov's legendary nameplate with serious track-focused intent. Built on the Z06's wider body but powered by the base LS3's 430-hp naturally aspirated 6.2L V8, it struck the perfect balance between everyday usability and weekend warrior capability. The magnetic ride control, limited-slip differential, and aggressive aero package delivered genuine performance credentials without the Z06's supercar maintenance demands. Tom Peters' design team nailed the proportions, creating what many consider the most visually balanced C6. With production ending in 2013 as the C7 arrived, these represent the final evolution of the C6 platform. Clean examples with the Z07 performance package are increasingly sought after by collectors who appreciate the purity of naturally aspirated power in Corvette's last traditional generation.
