The LP560-4 marked the Gallardo's evolution into its most refined form, trading the original 5.0L V10 for a larger 5.2-liter unit producing 560 horsepower. Filippo Perini's design updates sharpened the visual drama while improving aerodynamics. The upgraded e-gear transmission delivered quicker shifts, helping achieve that sub-4-second sprint to 60 mph. This became the volume seller of the Gallardo range, offering the sweet spot of performance and daily usability that made it Lamborghini's most successful model at the time. With over 14,000 Gallardos produced total, the LP560-4 represents the most accessible entry into serious naturally-aspirated V10 ownership.
