About the 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
The C7 Grand Sport delivered everything enthusiasts loved about the concept: Z06 bodywork, sophisticated chassis tuning, and the sweet-singing LT1's 460 naturally aspirated horses. This wasn't just a parts-bin special, GM's engineers crafted a distinct personality that split the difference between base Stingray comfort and Z06 intensity. The wider Michelin Pilot Super Sports, electronic limited-slip differential, and track-tuned suspension created a car that could embarrass supercars on track while remaining civilized on the street. The seven-speed manual became a collector favorite, representing the last traditional stick-shift Corvette before the C8's revolutionary mid-engine layout. With production ending in 2019, clean manual examples are already appreciating as collectors recognize this as the final front-engine Grand Sport, and arguably the most complete C7 variant.
