Built on GM's W-body platform, the 2004-2008 Grand Prix offered genuine driving dynamics with its available 5.3L LS4 V8 in GXP trim, delivering 303 horsepower through the front wheels—a rare configuration that made it surprisingly quick. The supercharged 3.8L V6 in GT models provided solid mid-range performance with that distinctive GM blower whine. While not traditionally collectible yet, clean examples are becoming increasingly rare as most were used as daily drivers. The GXP variant, with its aggressive styling cues and manual transmission option, shows the most promise for future appreciation.
