About the 1974 Triumph Spitfire 1500

The Spitfire 1500 represented the final evolution of Triumph's beloved roadster, featuring the largest engine in the model's history. The 1.5-liter inline-four produced 71 hp and 82 lb-ft, providing the best performance of any production Spitfire with a 13.2-second 0-60 time. Built from 1974-1980, these later cars benefited from years of refinement while maintaining the classic Michelotti styling that made the Spitfire famous.
