The Lamborghini Miura was built from 1966 to 1973.

The P400 SV, the most traded version: The SV marked the Miura's final evolution, addressing the handling quirks that plagued earlier variants while maintaining Gandini's timeless silhouette. With 385 horsepower from the refined 3.9-liter V12, the SV featured wider rear fenders, revised suspension geometry, and improved weight distribution that finally tamed the car's notorious high-speed instability. Only 150 examples were built between 1971-1973, making it the rarest of the 'regular' Miuras. The SV's combination of enhanced performance, improved drivability, and limited production has made it the most desirable Miura variant for serious collectors. Clean examples regularly exceed $3 million at auction, with concours-quality cars approaching $4 million. For many enthusiasts, the SV represents the perfect Miura—beautiful, fast, and actually manageable to drive.
