The Continental GTC brought open-air grand touring to Bentley's modern lineup, combining the coupe's performance with sophisticated convertible engineering. The fabric soft-top could deploy in 25 seconds while maintaining the car's elegant proportions. Despite the added weight and structural reinforcement, the GTC retained most of the coupe's 552-horsepower performance, reaching 195 mph with the top up. Dirk van Braeckel's design translated beautifully to convertible form, creating one of the most beautiful modern Bentleys. Production numbers were lower than the coupe, making good examples increasingly scarce. Early 2007-2008 models with the 6-speed transmission are particularly sought after by purists. Collector interest is growing as these represent Bentley's return to convertible grand touring after decades. Pristine examples in classic colors like Dark Sapphire or Beluga with magnolia leather interiors command strong premiums.
