The Arnage R represents Bentley's return to its twin-turbocharged roots after the brief BMW-engined interlude. Launched in 2002, this flagship sedan packed a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 400 horsepower and a massive 616 lb-ft of torque—enough to propel 5,500 pounds of hand-crafted luxury to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds. Unlike its naturally aspirated Arnage siblings, the R delivered genuine sports sedan performance wrapped in traditional Crewe craftsmanship. The distinctive mesh grille, lowered suspension, and 19-inch wheels telegraphed its sporting intent. With only about 1,000 examples built during its seven-year run, the Arnage R has become the most desirable variant of Bentley's last truly traditional sedan before the Continental GT era.
