About the 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL55 Brabus K8

The Brabus K8 is a power package for the R230 SL 55 AMG. It is sold for the supercharged 5.4 liter V8. Brabus raised its output. Production numbers are not published. A Czech magazine lists 405 kW, or 550 PS, about 542 horsepower. Torque is 780 Nm, about 575 pound feet. It lists 4.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a 300 km/h limit. Collectors like it as a rare supercharged SL with a period Brabus tune. Some sources give 530 PS, so check the paperwork. When buying, ask for the Brabus invoice and the Brabus plate, not just Brabus wheels.
