What is a 1987 Lancia Delta 8V worth today?

The Shifty Estimate is $27,800. That sits above the $23,250 median of actual sales because the median counts every car that sold, including high-mileage examples, while the estimate describes a clean, low-mileage one bought today. About the 1987 Lancia Delta 8V

The Delta 8V launched Lancia's assault on the World Rally Championship, serving as the homologation base for one of rallying's most successful cars. Built in 5,000 examples, the 8V featured a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 185 hp and Lancia's sophisticated all-wheel-drive system adapted from the 037. The boxy Giugiaro styling hid advanced technology including a viscous coupling center differential and independent rear suspension. While less powerful than later Integrales, the 8V's pure character and historical significance as the first Delta rally car make it highly desirable. The 8V's 6.6-second 0-60 time was impressive for 1987, while its rally heritage provided instant credibility. Values have risen steadily as collectors recognize the 8V's importance as the foundation of Lancia's rally dynasty and one of the first truly effective all-wheel-drive hot hatches.
