The Skyline GT-R GT-R, the most traded version: The R32 GT-R earned its 'Godzilla' nickname by dominating everything in sight, from Bathurst to the Nürburgring. With 43,934 units produced over five years, it's the most common GT-R generation, yet remains highly coveted for good reason. The RB26DETT twin-turbo inline-six, ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, and Super HICAS four-wheel steering created a technological tour de force that redefined sports car performance. Despite the official 276-horsepower rating, dyno tests revealed closer to 320 hp from the factory. The R32's racing success was unprecedented, winning 29 consecutive JTCC races and earning Group A homologation. Now legal for US import, clean R32s have seen explosive price appreciation. While modified examples are common, unmolested cars with proper documentation command premium prices. The R32 represents the birth of the modern GT-R legend and remains the most historically significant of all Skylines.
