What is a 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec worth today?
The Shifty Estimate is $367,500. That sits above the $313,125 median of actual sales because the median counts every car that sold, including high-mileage examples, while the estimate describes a clean, low-mileage one bought today. We rate confidence low: 2 public sales in a year is not enough to be firm, and the honest range is wide. Treat it as a starting point, not a valuation.

About the 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec
The M-Spec represented Nissan's attempt to create a more refined, road-focused GT-R without sacrificing the breed's legendary performance. With only 370 units produced in the final two years of R34 production, it's among the rarest factory GT-R variants. The M-Spec deleted the rear wing and aggressive aerodynamics in favor of a cleaner aesthetic, while adding leather appointments and improved sound deadening. The RB26DETT remained unchanged, but the suspension received softer tuning for improved daily usability. Despite its luxury focus, the M-Spec retained the ATTESA E-TS Pro system and six-speed transmission. Initially overlooked by collectors who preferred the track-focused V-Spec variants, M-Specs have gained serious appreciation as the market has matured. Clean examples now command substantial premiums, particularly among collectors who appreciate the subtlety and exclusivity of this gentleman's GT-R.
