About the 2018 BMW M3 CS
The F80 M3 CS represented BMW M's final naturally aspirated hurrah before turbocharging took over. Limited to 1,200 units, this track-focused sedan featured a tuned version of the twin-turbo S55 inline-six producing 453 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. The CS package added carbon fiber aerodynamics, lightweight wheels, and a stripped interior with carbon bucket seats. Its 7-speed DCT transmission delivered lightning-fast shifts while maintaining the rear-wheel-drive purity that defined M3s. The CS could reach 174 mph unrestricted, making it one of the fastest M3s ever produced. With its limited production run and track-focused nature, the F80 CS has already begun appreciating among collectors who recognize it as the end of an era.
