The Honda Civic 2006-2011 was built from 2006 to 2011.
The Sedan, the most traded version: The eighth-generation Civic sedan represents Honda's bold design departure that polarized enthusiasts but created tomorrow's classics today. This 2006-2011 generation introduced the controversial two-tier dashboard and spaceship-like interior that screamed future-forward thinking. Under the hood, the naturally aspirated 1.8-liter R18 engine delivered 140hp through Honda's refined 5-speed manual or CVT, while the Si variant packed the high-revving 2.0-liter K20Z3 with 197hp and an 8,000-rpm redline. What makes these collectible isn't just Honda's bulletproof reliability, but their role as the last naturally aspirated Civics before turbocharging took over. Clean examples, especially Si models with manual transmissions, are increasingly sought after by collectors who appreciate Honda's engineering purity. The sedan's practical four-door layout makes it more attainable than the coupe, yet equally rewarding for those who understand Honda's VTEC magic.
