About the 2008 Bentley Brooklands
The Brooklands marked Bentley's final farewell to the legendary 6.75-liter V8 that had powered the marque for nearly five decades. This grand touring coupe, produced from 2008-2011, delivered 530 horsepower and 774 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed automatic, making it the most powerful Bentley ever at launch. Named after the historic racing circuit where Bentley earned its racing pedigree in the 1920s, only 550 examples were built worldwide, making it among the rarest modern Bentleys. The Brooklands featured a distinctive fastback silhouette, flared wheel arches, and an interior draped in the finest hides and veneers. Its combination of old-world craftsmanship with modern performance created a unique proposition in the ultra-luxury segment. Today, collectors prize the Brooklands as both the end of an era and a bridge between Bentley's storied past and its modern renaissance under Volkswagen Group ownership.
