The Pierce-Arrow Eight was built from 1928 to 1930.
The Model 41 Sedan, the most traded version: Pierce-Arrow's Model 41 Sedan marked the company's ambitious entry into the multi-cylinder era, featuring a sophisticated 6.3-liter straight-eight producing 115 horsepower. Built from 1928-1930, this sedan could reach 85 mph—impressive for a luxury car of the period. The timing proved unfortunate, as production ended just as the Depression devastated the luxury car market. Only 2,000 examples were built, making survivors exceptionally rare today. The Model 41's eight-cylinder engine was smooth and refined, befitting Pierce-Arrow's reputation as America's Rolls-Royce. These sedans represent the final flowering of Pierce-Arrow's engineering prowess before financial troubles began. For collectors, they offer the prestige of owning one of America's most exclusive pre-war luxury marques.
