The Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG was built from 2007 to 2009.
The CLK63 AMG Black Series, the most traded version: The original Black Series, the CLK63 AMG established the template for Mercedes' most extreme road cars. Limited to 700 units globally, each example features the hand-built M156 6.2-liter V8 producing 500 horsepower and 464 lb-ft. AMG's engineers stripped 110 pounds from the standard CLK63, added aggressive aerodynamics, and fitted track-focused suspension components. The seven-speed automatic transmission was specially calibrated for maximum performance, enabling a 4.2-second sprint to 60 mph. Built during AMG's golden age of naturally aspirated engines, the CLK63 Black Series represents pure mechanical fury without turbocharging or hybrid assistance. The model's two-year production run created the perfect balance of exclusivity and availability for serious collectors. Values have steadily appreciated as enthusiasts recognize its significance as the first Black Series and potentially the last naturally aspirated AMG grand tourer. Today's collectors prize its analog character and the visceral experience of AMG's legendary hand-built V8.
