The Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV was built from 1985 to 1988.
The 5000 QV, the most traded version: The 5000 QV represented peak naturally aspirated Countach performance with its 455-hp Quattrovalvole V12 featuring four valves per cylinder. This technical advancement, borrowed from Lamborghini's racing programs, delivered the most powerful Countach engine yet while improving throttle response and high-rpm breathing. Gandini's design reached full maturity with refined aerodynamics and the definitive Countach proportions that influenced supercars for decades. The 610-unit production run made it the most common late-model Countach, yet demand consistently outstrips supply among collectors seeking the ultimate 1980s icon. The QV's combination of raw performance, dramatic styling, and relative reliability makes it the sweet spot for many enthusiasts. As values of 1980s supercars continue climbing, the 5000 QV offers the full Countach experience with the best power-to-dollar ratio in the lineup.
