The Ford Bronco 1992-1996 was built from 1992 to 1996.
The Bronco, the most traded version: The fifth-generation Bronco represents the end of an era for Ford's iconic SUV, making these final years increasingly collectible. Built on the F-150 platform with a 112.8-inch wheelbase, the '92-'96 Bronco offered serious capability with its standard 5.0L or optional 5.8L V8, paired with either manual or automatic transmission and part-time 4WD. What sets this generation apart is its refined interior and improved on-road manners while retaining genuine off-road prowess. The removable rear seat and fold-down tailgate maintained its utility roots. With Ford discontinuing the full-size Bronco after 1996 (until the recent revival), these represent the last of the original breed. Clean, low-mileage examples are becoming harder to find, particularly Eddie Bauer and XLT trims. The combination of nostalgic appeal, practical capability, and historical significance makes these final Broncos increasingly sought-after by collectors who appreciate authentic American SUVs.
