The Alpina B7 was built from 2016 to 2022.
The Bi-Turbo, the most traded version: The first-generation G11/G12 B7 Bi-Turbo transformed BMW's flagship 7 Series into a 608-horsepower luxury rocket. Alpina's meticulous tuning of the twin-turbo V8 delivered supercar performance with limousine comfort, achieving 205-mph capability while maintaining the refinement expected from a $143,200 flagship. This hand-built sedan represented Alpina's most expensive offering during its production run, combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. The B7's 3.6-second 0-60 time made it faster than most sports cars, yet it remained supremely comfortable for cross-continental touring. With production limited to Alpina's small Buchloe facility, these sedans are exceptionally rare. The 2016-2022 B7 marked the end of an era before the more powerful refresh, making early examples increasingly collectible as the last of the 'pure' twin-turbo V8 B7s.
