About the 2011 Koenigsegg Agera

The original Agera marked Koenigsegg's evolution from the CC platform into hypercar royalty. Christian von Koenigsegg's masterpiece combined a 940-horsepower twin-turbo V8 with advanced aerodynamics and a carbon fiber monocoque, achieving a staggering 260 mph top speed. The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission delivered brutal 2.8-second 0-60 acceleration while maintaining surprising daily usability. With only seven base Ageras produced between 2011-2014, each commanding $1.5 million when new, these represent the foundation of Koenigsegg's modern hypercar dynasty. The base Agera's significance lies in establishing the platform that would spawn the even more extreme R and RS variants. Today, these ultra-rare Swedish missiles are virtually priceless, representing the beginning of the modern hypercar arms race and Christian von Koenigsegg's vision of automotive perfection.
